Sustainable and 100% Carbon-Neutral

And that also goes for packaging

Revitalized water helps us protect our most valuable resource: nature. Lowering the required amounts of cleaning agents, GRANDER® protects the environment.

Also sewage water is gentler to nature when it has been revitalized. What is more, GRANDER Inline Units solely run on natural energy, i.e., they require no electricity or chemicals. GRANDER also reduces the purchase and transport of bottled water. In this spirit of treating nature mindfully, we also use packaging materials that are 100% carbon-neutral.

GRANDER Inline Units have always been shipped in cardboard boxes, but we are always looking for ways to improve even further. A conscious decision was made to avoid elaborate print on the packages, and colors used are biodegradable and produced in a natural way. This way GRANDER has continuously improved its packaging and today primarily uses packaging materials made from sustainable resources that are natural, recyclable, and climate-neutral.

Every year, we pack and ship close to 5,500 packages and about 100 pallets. This makes it all the more important to use only paper and cardboard for wrapping products to protect nature and the environment. These packaging materials are:

  • renewable and easily available;
  • regionally produced;
  • sustainable and natural;
  • reusable to an extent as large as 80%;
  • 100% biodegradable and compostable;
  • suitable for reuse up to 25 times without compromised durability and wear resistance.

We have been awarded a “Green Dot,” which stands for a circular economy, i.e., the reuse of resources recovered from waste materials. By continuously furthering recycling efficiency, the Green Dot strives to put an ever-increasing amount of recyclable materials to good use. This protects our resources, the climate, and the environment.

Sustainability throughout the entire WATER cycle

The world is drowning in plastic waste; huge garbage patches are found in both the Pacific and Atlantic Ocean. A veritable plastic avalanche is threatening to bury the planet. Global warming is an undeniable fact, which is also to be blamed on harmful CO2 emissions. GRANDER is committed to reducing greenhouse gas emissions throughout its entire value chain.

Tap water significantly reduces CO2 emissions

  • No bottles to be transported
  • No extra car trips to the supermarket
  • No energy to be invested in the complex recycling process of bottles
  • Inline Units are sustainable; they run without electricity or chemicals
  • No replacement, exchange of parts, or maintenance required
  • An average lifetime of GRANDER Inline Units of more than 40 years by now
  • Revitalized sewage water returning to nature that revitalizes and stabilizes the natural cycle

Nature is the most precious thing we have, and it is our responsibility to protect it!
