The cooling system has been a problem for many years. A smooth process in the company first happened in 2005. Using the conventional filter technology and chemicals it was no longer possible to get the silt build-up in the cooling system under control. When GRANDER water revitalisation was installed in 2005, the problems were solved and the amount of maintenance was reduced.
"A constant temperature of the cooling water is essential. If the temperature rises, then there is silt build-up and the water flow is smaller. This results in stand stills and fall outs. This is a catastrophy in a series production company," Ing. Walter Hollenstein explains, who is the manager of the plant in Rankweil, Austria.
