Since the existence of GRANDER water revitalization, there are two questions:

How does GRANDER water revitalization work and can these effects be scientifically supported?

The main focus of the research field "Applied Water Physics" is the study of these fundamental properties of water, especially its interactions with electric, magnetic and electromagnetic fields and the effect of such interactions on living organisms such as bacteria.

Over the past 140 years, much research has been done on the effects of magnetic or electromagnetic treatment on water.

For a long time, claims that the influence of a magnetic field on hard water affects the structure and morphology of calcium carbonate crystallization were viewed with skepticism by the scientific community. This was mainly due to the fact that there was no plausible mechanism that could explain the lasting effect of magnetic fields even after the termination of exposure.

As a result, the application was controversial among experts, and not only with respect to GRANDER water revitalization.

In 2017, the interdisciplinary scientific collaboration of university research institutes in Europe's center of excellence for sustainable water technology "Wetsus" brought a breakthrough in understanding magnetic water treatment from the perspective of water physics.

The 2016 study translates as:

"Strong gradients in weak magnetic fields induce DOLLOP formation in tap water".

The experiment:

Water samples were treated with a GRANDER water revitalizer and compared to non-treated samples.

A GRANDER water revitalizer consists of a lightly magnetized metal housing and a core of revitalized water. Therefore, the authors of the study refer to them as water core magnets.

What was the result of the Dollop study?

The study proves that the use of GRANDER water revitalization devices, reduces the formation of settling lime crystals.

Instead, dollops (= precursor of lime crystals) are formed, which are dissolved in the water and rinsed out.

The research group was able to verify (prove) the valid hypothesis of basic mechanisms of magnetic water treatment using an IPF/GRANDER water core magnetic cylinder.

What is the practical benefit?

Lime dissolved in the water no longer crystallizes on the pipe walls, but is flushed out with the water flow, providing little growth conditions for undesirable bacteria and biofilms.

The results of this study have been published in a peer-reviewed journal since 2016.
