In the Burgenland district of Deutschkreutz, Austria, it was the mayor, Manfred Koelly himself who had the GRANDER® water revitalisation installed in 2005. The two parishes, Korneuburg and Bisamberg, Austria, collaborate in running the Florian Berndl Pool. It is named after an early pioneer of alternative medicine (1856 - 1934) who recommended the then-revolutionary nude bathing. "Many bathing guests fill their drinking bottles from the two GRANDER® fountains, because they enjoy drinking the water so much. Technically, the maintenance has been significantly reducts since the installation of GRANDER® water revitalisation," Hans Stocker, the responsible life guard and custodian at Schladming Adventure Pool in Austria, explains.
At Sonnrain adventure pool situated in Leogang near Saalfelden, Austria there are 750m² of water features awaiting the guests including: giant slides, wild water slide, beach entrance, sport swimming pool, children's splash pool, stream for playing, stream for kneipping, beach volleyball court, tennis court, sauna and much more.
Both the indoor pool in the recreation centre as well as the outdoor pool in the popular holiday destination and National Park centre Mittersill near Salzburg, Austria have been revitalized since 1996. Herbert Scharler, the local councillor at that time, was sceptical at the beginning. The optimisation of the chemical usage through GRANDER® won him over.
The installation of GRANDER® water revitalisation at the Kaiserbad Ellmau in 1996 was a true pioneering step. There were no previous experiences to draw on. Life guard Huber Kaufmann was one of the first to promote it. The reactions came promptly: bathing guests and also employees noticed immediately that their bathing suits didn't smell so much like chlorine.
