Bakery Schmid - Hallerbaeck

Bread and Pastries from Hall is full of tradition

Bakery Schmid - Hallerbaeck Schmid Bakery
The Schmid Bakery in Hall near Admont is a family-run business, that has passed on the art of baking for generations.  Through the installation of the GRANDER® Water Revitalisation in 2003, the production could achieve countless improvements as well as savings, and the quality and shelf-life of the products has increased too.

Day after day 20 different kinds of breads and pastry specialties made with pure natural ingredients are baked and offered to customers.

One of the best breads of Europe is created by the "Hallerbaeck" himself, Alfred Schmid, who has been awarded gold medals in Europe for his "Haller Korn" and "Xeis Laib" - two of his own bread creations.

The successful baker does not want to be without GRANDER water any more:

"Since using the revitalized GRANDER water in our baking, we only require 2 dag of yeast in comparison to 3 dag per 2 kg of flour previously.  Our bread has a better appearance and tastes much better too.  The vapour pipes have less calcification.  I only have to clean once a year instead of twice a month, as was previously the case," the renowned baker reports quite satisfied.

Hard work, constant investments, motivated employees and the best water quality are the criteria that have made the bread and pastries from Haller Baeck well-liked and sought after for more than 100 years.
