The opening event of the Economic Forum WerteVollLeben in the Waldviertel Schuhwerkstatt in Schrems was considered on many accounts a huge success.

"A worthwhile future requires extraordinary people and extraordinary ideas to achieve extraordinary success!"

Therefore, the organizer - association "WerteVollLeben with Purpose" - invited well-know business people on stage, who inspired around 100 business owners from the region with their ideas and contributions.

Otto Leodolter, manager of the company Loeffler Sportswear, demonstrated how successful textile production can be, not only in Bangladesh, but also mainly in Austria and its neighbouring EU countries.

Erwin Thoma reported impactfully about the ingenuity of wood as a building material and its unique concept of WOOD 100 houses - among other things he talked about the first completely self-sufficient industrial park ArcheNEO entirely of wood, made, of course, by Erwin Thoma.

Heini Staudinger, the rebellious shoemaker, as he is called by the media gladly talked about his challenges with respect to alternative forms of financing and the Financial Market Authority / FMA.

Kurt Hoertenhuber, OUPS Publications, has already established a fan base and enticed countless readers with "heartfelt thoughts for a worthwhile world".  His books are 100% ecologically printed.

Johann Grander tells the success story of the water revitalisation, that began with his father and is carried on today by him and his siblings. He explained the values of GRANDER to the guests, that have been passed on from father to son and are still the basis of the company today.

A small, but fine exhibition, in which companies and organisations from the region presented their products and services, rounded off this unique event and offered visitors a great opportunity to become inspired by the core values of these businesses.
