The Hotel Gasthof zum Ochsen stands for meal specialties with tradition.  Meat of the finest quality and hospitality have been the core components of this family-run business in Arlesheim for many years now.  They proudly look back on 100 years of family history.

Throughout the hotel one can find memories of the past.  Old photographs, prints or oil paintings as well as antique butcher tools remind of times gone by and unite wonderfully with the modern comfort.

In 2008 there were problems with rusty water in the hotel rooms, that were solved with the help of the GRANDER water revitalisation - successfully!  Soon, they noticed other advantages: the water quality in the kitchen and in the butcher shop was significantly improved.  The most obvious difference was with the drinking water: it is simply pure enjoyment to drink GRANDER water!
