Hotel La Clairiere, La Petit Pierre
La Clairiere - in the heart of the natural park, Nordvogesen, in Elsass - is revitalized by GRANDER!
Over the course of a few years and with a lot of technical skill as well as energy, the couple was able to turn their dream into reality. Some 20 years later, La Clairiere has evolved having 50 rooms, an English-style bar, an indoor pool and a climbing garden, that welcomes its guests to experience new growth.
Due to health reasons, Angele and Robert have handed over the reigns to their daughters, Lisbeth and Kareen, who joined the family company in 2001.
The plan for a wellness spa between the years 2002 and 2005 was developed, revised and realized by the entire family. In terms of a holistic approach, the restaurant introduced organic cooking in cooperation with local farmers, and thus became the first hotel restaurant with an organic certification in France.
La Clairiere adapted over the years according to a coherent principle: The offered programme corresponds to the personal ideas of its owner. This approach is consistent with the desire to open up new perspectives for the guests in terms of leading a healthy lifestyle.
La Clairiere views itself as a place of inspiration, where guests can become rejuvenated, restore their energy and channel it; this hotel is also a place to discover new, healthy rituals. The principle of a comprehensive well-being, supported by La Clairiere, combines the effect of a unique, natural environment with bio-dynamic cooking and a holistic care programme.
In order to achieve a place of self-contemplation, La Clairiere took various ecological measures and chose corresponding furnishings: in the kitchen only ingredients originating from organic farms are used, WLAN is only found in the common areas, natural latex and organic wool for the beds, implementation of reuseable energies (wood stove and photovoltaics), etc.
In keeping with the holistic concept, we decided to install GRANDER to revitalize our water.
The water of Nordvogesen is exquisite by nature, rich in minerals and filtered through thick layers of sandstone. The revitalisation of the drinking water by GRANDER improves the quality even more and provides our hotel with positive energy. Since installing the GRANDER water revitalisation technology, the water in our swimming pool is soft and requires very little chlorine.
