GRANDER upgrades the business

The building at Weissbadstrasse 3 is known as the oldest confectionery business of the town.  Various dainties and delicacies have been made here for people with a sweet tooth and gourments alike since 1872.  The "Laimbacher" is recognized for its creative quality confectionery and traditional cafe; they bake here exclusively with GRANDER® water.

Only top-quality ingredients are used for their creations.  Even today these delicacies are made by hand with love according to recipes handed down from past generations.

Apart from the original "Appenzeller Biber" one can find many other, unique house specialties.

"GRANDER's water has improved my business," as Reto Laimbacher, the proud owner, explains.

Laimbacher came across the discovery of the Tyrolean, Johann Grander, merely by accident.  A neighbour confectioner had installed the water revitalisation and convinced him with excellent results.  "I use revitalized water for the production of ice cream, fruit pulp, the filling of the Appenzeller Biber and for almost all of our confectionery products.  The taste has been refined and our baked goods stay fresher longer as before," Laimbacher comments about the results.  The Appenzeller Biber from the Laimbacher bakery is carefully packaged in a beautiful box or in a wooden box to be sent around the world.
